<text>A woman comes to the rabbi to ask him for permission to marry. Because she lived for many years in America and she was not known well in the city, they investigated her and according to one of the reliable and well established individuals in the city, who frequently travelled to and from America, that he was there with another G-d fearing Jew like himself, at the woman's marriage ceremony there, to a man that they do not know his whereabouts, and they indeed also saw the giving of the marriage ring from his to her hand. And when the rabbi asked if there were additional reliable people who had witnessed the marriage, they said that there was a large gathering of people, and among them some people they know, but they as well as the person who led the marriage ceremony, are establishing a new group that does not carefully adhere to the Jewish commandments. And the woman shouted like a crane and says that what was said never happened. And now the Rabbi has to decide if it is permissible for this woman to marry.</text>
