<text>A man who had three sons, of whom the youngest was prodigal and charitable, equally appointed his sons as heirs. Then he entrusted his longtime faithful accountant with the knowledge that a coffer was hidden in a wall; he should act with further prudence. After the death of the deceased, the accountant found 10,000 florins in the coffer. The sons heard of it after some time and demanded the money. The accountant said that their father had given him the money. Joseph ben Moses Alvares thinks that the deceased's intention was probably to secure emergency funds. The money belongs to the sons in equal shares; it should remain under the administration of the accountant or the Beth Din and be distributed only after the death of the youngest son. See query number 63 for comparison.</text>
