<text>The daughter of a convert and a Jewess received her inheritance from her deceased father upon her marriage. Her ketubah was composed according to Toledano custom. When her mother died, she received another 2000 gulden that had been in the custody of her uncle, her mother's brother. It was further stipulated in her mother's will that these 2000 gulden, if the woman were to die childless, should revert to the uncle. When the woman died childless, her husband still wanted to keep the 2000 florins. Salomo Jessurun agrees with him. See No. 35.</text>
