Jacob ben David Fidanque also mentions another injunction, that the son should not see the father's shame; therefore, both should not bathe together unclothed. Nevertheless, Fidanque allows the son to perform the circumcision if there is no other mohel in town or within a distance of one- or two-days' journey.
