<text>A Jew bought eating utensils from a non-Jew to give them to another non-Jew. Must the Jew 'kasher' (ritually purify) the utensils if they want to use them in the meantime? Should a second Jew who receives them from the non-Jew 'kasher' them again? Jacob ben Abraha Bassan denies the first question and affirms the second. See 533. Added to it is a second question, if one may soak the skin of the stomach of a ritually slaughtered animal in vinegar or water, and then use the strained liquid together with plant extract for cheese preparation. Jacob Bassan wanted to address the question more thoroughly, but due to pressure from the printer, he summarized it [only one printed page] and allows the mixture for cheese preparation only if it meets two conditions: 1) it is sixty times the amount of the used skin, and 2) it no longer has a meat flavor.</text>
